Refund and Cancellation Policy: WIBS 2026

Effective Date: June 16, 2026

At WIBA Africa, we are committed to providing a seamless experience for all participants of the Women in Business Summit (WIBS) 2026. Please read our refund and cancellation policy carefully before completing your registration.

1. General Registration Policy

All ticket purchases for WIBS 2026 are final. By completing your registration via our official portal and processing payment through Paystack, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

2. Refund Eligibility

Final Sale: Registration fees are non-refundable under normal circumstances.
Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event that WIBS 2026 is cancelled by the organizers and not rescheduled, attendees will be entitled to a full refund of the registration fee paid.
Refund Deductions: Any refunds issued due to total event cancellation will exclude third-party transaction fees (charged by Paystack or your financial institution) and applicable taxes, as these are non-recoverable costs incurred at the time of purchase.

3. Event Postponement

Should WIBS 2026 be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure, venue issues, or public health directives), all purchased tickets will remain valid for the new, rescheduled date. We will communicate the new date to all registered participants via the email address provided during registration. No refunds will be provided for postponed events.

4. Ticket Transferability

We recognize that professional schedules can change. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another individual subject to the following conditions:

Notification Deadline: Transfer requests must be submitted at least ten (10) days prior to the event.
Formal Request: All requests must be sent via email to [email protected] by the original purchaser.
Required Details: The email must include the full name, organization, and contact details (email/phone) of the substitute attendee.
Eligibility: The substitute attendee must meet all event eligibility requirements. The WIBS 2026 Secretariat reserves the right to approve or deny any transfer request.

5. No-Show Policy

Failure to attend the event without prior notification or an approved ticket transfer constitutes a “no-show.” No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits toward future events.
