Terms and Conditions: WIBS 2026

Effective Date: June 16, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your registration for and participation in the Women in Business Summit (WIBS) 2026, organized by WIBA Africa. By registering for the event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, which constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the WIBS 2026 Secretariat.

1. Registration and Eligibility

Capacity: Attendance is limited. Your registration is only confirmed upon receipt of a successful payment confirmation via Paystack.
Eligibility: WIBS 2026 is designed for professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, and students.
Age Restrictions: The event is open to individuals of all ages; however, any attendee under the age of 18 must be accompanied at all times by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult. Proof of age may be required at the point of entry.

2. Code of Conduct

WIBS 2026 is dedicated to providing a professional, safe, and inclusive environment. By attending, you agree to:

Respect: Treat all attendees, speakers, sponsors, staff, and volunteers with professional courtesy.
Conduct: Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or disruptive behavior.
Compliance: Adhere to all venue-specific regulations and instructions provided by the event organizers.
Right of Removal: The organizers reserve the right to deny entry or remove any participant whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, or detrimental to the summit’s environment. Participants removed under this clause are not entitled to a refund.

3. Media and Intellectual Property

Photography/Videography: By attending WIBS 2026, you acknowledge that the event will be documented through photography and video. You hereby grant WIBA Africa irrevocable permission to use your likeness, voice, and name in promotional materials, website content, and post-event reporting without compensation.
Materials: All materials provided at the summit (including presentations and resources) are for your personal, professional use and remain the intellectual property of the speakers or WIBA Africa.

4. Limitation of Liability

Personal Property: WIBA Africa and its partners, sponsors, and venue hosts accept no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal property belonging to attendees.
General Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, WIBA Africa shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or injury incurred during or as a result of the summit.

5. Force Majeure

WIBA Africa shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms if such failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, government regulations, or public health emergencies.

6. Changes to Terms

The organizers reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the email address provided during your registration. Your continued participation in the event constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from or relating to your participation in WIBS 2026 shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
